    Sulaiman stressed the Kingdom's need for quality small companies, which contribute to the service of large companies, as is the case in all developed countries, especially if we have new sectors in need of services and products of small and medium institutions such as mining, sports and tourism sectors for a larger role.
    Sulaiman praised the development of the role of women in economic activity as 38% of the companies launched in 2016 belong to women, and this confirms the growth and development of women's role in economic activity.

    For his part, Asharqia Chamber Deputy Chairman Muhammed Saad Al Faraj said in a speech that the small and medium institutions are now an important figure in a strategic direction that aims to become one of the pillars of economic development in the country by 2030, nd the increase in production, integration and interdependence between different productive sectors, as well as its leading role in the progress and diversification of employment opportunities in the hands of the national working hands as the Kingdom granted many supporting and encouraging bodies to establish, A nation of small and medium institutions, organized to have development and sponsorship in accordance with the best that have achieved distinctive steps in support of this important sector.
    In this regard, Al Farraj said that the Kingdom has achieved advanced indicators in terms of employees in small and medium institutions to the total number of employees in the business sector as a whole, according to the latest official statistics, 51%, exceeding the international standard by 3% and the regional standard by 9%, as for its contribution to non oil gross production to 33%, is expected to reach 35% in 2030.
    He pointed that Asharqia Chamber has been supporting these projects since its founding. The award was given to the promising and promising economic establishments in the Eastern Region, but one of the programs and initiatives launched by the Chamber to improve the concept of quality is to encourage them to compete.
